There seems to be some fires burning in the mountains around Sacramento. People with respiratory problems as well as healthy people are being told to stay in doors today. We are suppose to have a high of 95 degrees. Air quality was bad yesterday too but it's worse today. This is the air quality for today. This first picture is what the state looks like from the air, as you can see we are pretty much covered in smoke. The lake you see at the right toward the bottom is lake Tahoe.



And here are a few pictures I took of the Sun. I know your not suppose to look at the sun directly but it was so dull by the smoke, and believe me these pictures don't really show how orange the sun really is. I took them about 7 am this morning and usually when driving toward the sun it is blinding but not today.
